Closing Checklist Please be sure to bring the following items with you to your closing. BUYER/BORROWER · Photo identification (passport, driver’s license, or state-issued identification card) · Buyer’s copy of purchase agreement (real estate contract) · Proof of purchase of insurance for fire, casualty, etc., if applicable · Cashier’s check and your personal checkbook for any necessary payments (personal checks can only be excepted for $500.00 or less) · Any additional documentation that your Loan Officer has asked you to supply at closing.   SELLER · Photo identification (passport, driver’s license, or state-issued identification card) · Seller’s copy of purchase agreement (real estate contract) · Invoices for any unpaid taxes, assessments · Any unrecorded instruments that affect the title · Proof of satisfaction of any mechanics’ liens, mortgages, judgments, or mortgages that were paid prior to the closing · Any items you wish to pass on to the Buyer such as association payment Coupons, warranties, etc
